How we support you

Diabetes takes different forms. That is why we tailor care to your personal situation.

  • Type 1 diabetes

We support you with insulin therapy and with questions about glucose sensors, insulin pumps and managing diabetes in everyday life.

  • Type 2 diabetes

Together, we look at diet, physical activity and your medication. Your goals and what is practical in your everyday life are our starting point.

  • Obesity / Weight management

We discuss your weight and possible treatment options without blame. Our focus is your health, your quality of life and achievable steps.

  • Gestational diabetes

High blood glucose during pregnancy often raises many questions. We explain what matters and support you through the next steps.

  • Digital diabetes care / Diabetes technology

We discuss with you whether and how glucose sensors, insulin pumps or an AID system can support your treatment.

Treatment that fits your life

What is on your mind right now? What have your experiences with treatment been so far? And what would you like to change? For us, these questions are as much a part of the conversation as your readings and test results.

We explain the options and agree the next steps with you. You should understand why we suggest a treatment and feel able to ask questions openly. We take your circumstances and your own goals into account when making decisions.

Making good use of modern options

Digital tools are now part of diabetes treatment. These include glucose sensors (CGM), insulin pumps and AID systems, often also called closed-loop systems. Together, we look at which technology suits your treatment and needs, and discuss its use and your questions about the data.

Technology should help you in everyday life. That is why we explain the options clearly and decide together what makes sense for you. Learn more about insulin therapy and closed-loop systems

J. Rose M.D. (USA), Internist, diabetologist, nephrologist
Your doctor and point of contact

For Jörn Rose, the person comes first. Living with diabetes can bring questions, worries and sometimes frustration. He wants to understand your experiences and work with you to find an approach that fits your life.

You should feel able to ask questions openly, including when something feels difficult or a treatment is harder to manage than expected. He listens, explains medical matters clearly and discusses the next steps with you. Your personal wishes and goals are just as much a part of the conversation as your clinical findings.

He holds German and American qualifications.
Before founding the practice, he was a senior physician in the department of nephrology, cardiology and pulmonology at a large German hospital.

He is authorised to provide specialist medical training in internal medicine and diabetology and regularly gives lectures as part of continuing medical education for fellow physicians.
